Grants to South Carolina nonprofit arts and non-arts organizations in eligible areas for programs that benefit local residents. Funding is intended for activities that improve the quality of life in local communities. Applications for general operating support are allowed and encouraged. Eligible applicants include those that serve Berkeley, Charleston, and/or Dorchester counties, as well as organizations focused on the arts in Georgetown County.
Berkeley, Charleston, and Dorchester Counties nonprofits and Georgetown County arts nonprofits organizations are eligible.

The online application is due by June 1, at 11:59 PM, or the next business day if the date falls on a weekend.
Interested applicants will apply through the Northern Lowcountry Regional Cycle Application on the online portal. A committee comprised of community members will consider applications and make recommendations. Select groups may receive a site visit and/or follow questions, with final decisions announced in October.
- Average award: $7,500
- If the proposal addresses one of the following areas, applicants can apply for up to $15,000: Arts, Hospice Care, Alzheimer’s and related disorders.
- For all other focus areas, applicants may apply for up to $10,000.
